Volunteer Celebrates his 3000th Hour

February 7, 2011 by acornpig

Dudmaston Estate, Sunday 6th February

One of our longest serving members (John Wells, pictured) celebrated achieving 3000 volunteer hours with the group. While John was aware that he may well reach this total sometime this year, he had no idea that this was the big day! He was surprised (pleasantly I hope!) by the presentation of a gift and cake…needless to say the group stepped in to help eat the cake.

The weather stayed dry for the day, allowing the group to assist NT warden Mike Annis to clear brash and plant trees to improve an area of woodland.
