Volunteer Hours 2012

October 28, 2012 by acornpig

It’s that time of year when Laura puts her statistics hat on and counts up the hours worked during the last year. The new is good. We were great last year, this year we are even better!

Figures are from 1st Sept 2011 to 31st Aug 2012:

  • total volunteer hours for the group – 3,378.25
  • 65 people volunteered with the group
  • there were 73  workdays at 17 different National Trust sites

Where did we spend our time? The top 3 sites measured by hours worked are as follows:

  • Dudmaston
  • Wenlock Edge
  • Walcot Woods
The marvellous Matt Hinton topped the hours chart again this year with a fabulous personal best of 388hours (and that total doesn’t include all the other National Trust volunteer hours he does elsewhere).

Once again we failed to count up the number of slices of cake consumed but I have a feeling it was definitely more than last year (my pooh bear shaped tummy tells me so).
